Not skating? No problem! Children can take part in a free Christmas craft activity if they prefer.

Celebrate the season at our festive Christmas Craft Market! Enjoy free admission, a chance to win an exciting door prize, and a free craft activity for all children who attend. Come shop unique handmade gifts, enjoy the holiday spirit, and make fun memories with the whole family!

Private company hosting a dog show. The public is welcome to attend. More details to follow, closer to the date

JAWS: 50th Anniversary Tribute
Let’s celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Jaws. Come watch the movie and participate in some fun trivia with a chance to win a prize!
Annual General Meeting
We need you! We are so excited to invite the public to attend the annual general meeting to hear about the programs and events that take place at our community centre. Attending the AGM also provides you with an opportunity to hear about roles you can play in volunteering on the board.
We will be offering free pizza to those who attend. Children can come and will be offered art activities in the hall, so adults can attend.
Board member roles available:
Soccer Director - attend annual meetings to learn about the plans and registration process (typically 2 hours per month)
Hockey Director- attend annual meetings to learn about the schedule and registration process. We would encourage the hockey director to consider running a tournament in future years! (typically 2 hours per month on average)
Program Director - connect with individuals who wish to run activities and programs in the community centre. Organization and planning required. (5-10 hours per month committment)
Hall Director - Book, schedule and manage the hall rentals. (typically 5-10 hours per month)
Dog Man: The Movie
West Kildonan Community Centre Presents Dog Man: The Movie
Theatrical release date was January 2025
Appropriate for all ages/audiences
Movie will be played in the community centre hall. Children can come and go to play at the play structure if a movement break is needed.
Concession snacks available for sale - chips, popcorn, pop, chocolate bars and candy. Cash or debit available.
Free admission to watch the movie
Out of respect to other audience members we will ask those who are too loud to step out if needed.
