Annual General Meeting
We need you! We are so excited to invite the public to attend the annual general meeting to hear about the programs and events that take place at our community centre. Attending the AGM also provides you with an opportunity to hear about roles you can play in volunteering on the board.
We will be offering free pizza to those who attend. Children can come and will be offered art activities in the hall, so adults can attend.
Board member roles available:
Soccer Director - attend annual meetings to learn about the plans and registration process (typically 2 hours per month)
Hockey Director- attend annual meetings to learn about the schedule and registration process. We would encourage the hockey director to consider running a tournament in future years! (typically 2 hours per month on average)
Program Director - connect with individuals who wish to run activities and programs in the community centre. Organization and planning required. (5-10 hours per month committment)
Hall Director - Book, schedule and manage the hall rentals. (typically 5-10 hours per month)
Dog Show
Private company hosting a dog show. The public is welcome to attend. More details to follow, closer to the date

Christmas Craft Market
Celebrate the season at our festive Christmas Craft Market! Enjoy free admission, a chance to win an exciting door prize, and a free craft activity for all children who attend. Come shop unique handmade gifts, enjoy the holiday spirit, and make fun memories with the whole family!
Dog Man: The Movie
West Kildonan Community Centre Presents Dog Man: The Movie
Theatrical release date was January 2025
Appropriate for all ages/audiences
Movie will be played in the community centre hall. Children can come and go to play at the play structure if a movement break is needed.
Concession snacks available for sale - chips, popcorn, pop, chocolate bars and candy. Cash or debit available.
Free admission to watch the movie
Out of respect to other audience members we will ask those who are too loud to step out if needed.

Skate with Santa
Join SANTA on the ice for an hour of fun! Free admission. All ages welcome!
Family Christmas Singalong & Bingo
Family of all ages are welcome to participate in a Christmas Singalong and Bingo afternoon!
The singalong will be Christmas themed songs, preselected. Music will be played ‘karaoke’ style and the lyrics will be projected on our wall for everyone to sing along. Free admission to participate in this.
Bingo will be played in between song lists. Bingo cards are $1.00 each to play, with opportunities to win prizes from our prize table.
Childrens colouring table will be available for younger children who need more movement. We also have access to the playground for families to come in and out of the event as needed.
Light concessions will be available - water, pop, chips, popcorn, chocolate bars.

2:00 - 2:15 - three Christmas songs
2:20 - 2:40 - two rounds of BINGO
2:45 - 3:00 - three Christmas songs
3:05 - 3:30 - two rounds of BINGO
3:35 - 3:45 - three Christmas songs
3:45 - 4:00 - last round of BINGO
ages 0 - 120 welcome!
Christmas Craft Market
Christmas Craft Market on Sunday November 10th from 11am - 4pm.
Located inside our community centre hall. We look forward to seeing you there!

Halloween Skate Party
WKMCC present a special event - Halloween Skate Party
During public skate, come in your halloween costume to celebrate the season. We welcome you to skate in costume! The first 50 children will receive a trick or treat gift bag. All ages welcome. Free to participate.
Looking for Programming for Our Community Members
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to run programs or activities for our community members. We have a beautiful studio space and hall available to suit your needs. Contact us to discuss details. Please look at the hall rental page and fall programming for images of these spaces.

Summer Kick Off
Join us for a Sarah Teasel Circus performance at 2pm. Sarah will be offering a circus performing workshop for children.
then at 4pm the special events coordinator is offering family bingo. $1 per bing card to play. Cash only.
AGM
Our Annual General Meeting is open to the public. Looking to volunteer? We have Board Member positions available. Free pizza for all participants. All are welcome!
Movie Night
Join us for Family Movie Night. Bring your own cozy seating! Concessions for sale. Doors open at 5:30. Free entry for all!
Family Bingo
